Subject: SPR Daily Market Outlook | Sharp Shift in Supply-Demand Flow and Near-Term Stabilization Watch
Dear SPR Premium Subscribers,
Following Friday’s market close, President Trump’s rejection of Iran’s proposed seven-day peace initiative was sharply reflected in Monday’s U.S. market.
The buying and selling supply-demand flow that had supported the market throughout last week on expectations of a diplomatic resolution shifted abruptly. The change was reflected from the opening bell, with the market opening sharply lower and extending its decline throughout the session.
As the overall market flow changed rapidly, buying pressure weakened sharply across most individual stocks as well. This resulted in a broad deterioration in supply-demand conditions and renewed downside movement across the market.
The market has once again entered a period of heightened volatility driven by changing statements and positions. Depending on developments and statements from President Trump and Iran, the market is likely to remain subject to elevated uncertainty and rapid fluctuations.
Under these conditions, the daily outlook also remains highly sensitive to further changes. However, based on the price and supply-demand flow confirmed so far, we continue to maintain a relatively high possibility that supply-demand conditions will gradually stabilize from Wednesday, allowing the market to move upward in line with the existing weekly outlook.
Therefore, it will be important to closely monitor whether the buying base begins to stabilize between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Because the current volatility is being driven particularly by external developments and changes in statements, the market outlook could change rapidly if there is a meaningful shift in the underlying conditions. If a significant change in the outlook is identified, we will provide an immediate update.
Thank you for your continued support.
