Subject: Daily Flow Update: Short-Term Volatility and Potential Stabilization Ahead
Dear SPR Premium Subscribers,
Following today’s sharp shift in buy–sell dynamics, the previously maintained balance between buying and selling pressure has clearly broken down. At this stage, it remains uncertain whether today’s move represents a temporary dislocation or the early formation of a new supply–demand equilibrium.
This distinction is likely to become clearer over the next several trading sessions. Until a new balance in flow is established, short-term daily forecasts are expected to remain more volatile than usual. We kindly ask that this elevated uncertainty be taken into consideration when interpreting near-term projections.
After reviewing the daily flow of the U.S. market aggregate (USMAI), we observe a similar pattern. While forecast variability has increased at both the index and individual stock levels, current signals suggest that the probability of additional sharp downside moves is relatively limited. Instead, investor sentiment is expected to gradually stabilize, with early signs of a rebound potentially emerging around Wednesday to Thursday.
Should a rebound be confirmed during this timeframe, there is a meaningful possibility that outlooks for individual stocks that experienced market-driven sell-offs could shift rapidly beginning mid-week. Accordingly, we believe that adopting a market-centric approach—anchoring short-term strategy to broader market flow rather than isolated stock movements—may be more effective under current conditions.
Furthermore, if the anticipated rebound phase materializes within the expected window, the recovery momentum is projected to extend into early next week.
Thank you for your continued trust and attention.
