Subject: SPR Weekly U.S. Market Outlook | Short-Term Peak Approaching and October Correction Outlook

Dear SPR Premium Subscribers,

This week, the U.S. stock market was initially pressured by President Trump’s rejection of the seven-day peace initiative announced after last Friday’s market close. The renewed uncertainty was reflected immediately on Monday, causing a sharp deterioration in the buying and selling supply-demand flow and a significant decline in the market.

However, the market gradually stabilized from Tuesday through Wednesday as the supply-demand flow began to recover toward its previous balance. As a result, the market ultimately recovered the earlier losses and finished the week with a modest gain.

A similar pattern was observed across most individual stocks. This week's market action once again highlights the importance of the chain of factors surrounding the U.S.-Iran conflict: oil prices → inflation → interest rates. Ultimately, expectations surrounding interest rates remain one of the most important factors influencing investor decisions and the broader market direction.

As discussed in our previous outlook, there is no change to our view that the current extended uptrend is likely to form a short-term peak within the next 1–2 weeks and subsequently transition into a correction phase.

With another week now having passed, we expect buying pressure to gradually weaken as we move into next week. From this point through the end of October, the overall market is expected to develop within a corrective, range-bound pattern.

Importantly, however, the correction is not currently expected to be deep. Instead, we anticipate that the market will remain within a relatively limited range, forming a sideways box-type fluctuation while the existing uptrend gradually loses momentum.

The more important period to watch will be late October through early November.

This period is currently expected to represent a major inflection point for the weekly market trend, with the potential for the market to begin transitioning back into a new weekly uptrend. If this transition becomes visibly confirmed through the underlying supply-demand conditions and price movement, the probability of a clear and sustained upward trend developing throughout November would become significantly higher.

Accordingly, we believe that a potentially important second-half investment opportunity may emerge around late October. Investors may therefore wish to take this timing into consideration when establishing their positioning and strategy for the coming weeks.

For now, the key focus remains on whether the current uptrend reaches its expected short-term peak over the next 1–2 weeks, followed by the anticipated October correction and stabilization process.

We will continue to monitor the weekly trend, supply-demand conditions, and the relationship between oil prices, inflation, and interest-rate expectations, and provide updates as the market develops.
